ICE Monster Press Conference & Rally

Los Angeles, CA – Dream Team Los Angeles along with Los Angeles based grassroots community organizations will hold a press conference and rally in response to the 2 million deportations overseen by President Obama which are facilitated by the collaboration between local law enforcement and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). The event is part of a national movement to demand that President Obama use his executive power to put a stop to all deportations and will highlightthe impact of deportations at the local level. In January 2013 alone, almost 2,000 people in California were deported through the infamous and wrongfully named “Secure” Communities program.
